Fingers: Index=1, Middle=2, Ring=3, Pinkie=4
Strings: Lowest tone string on top is #6, below that is #5 and so on...
Frets: Generally marked at #3, #5, #7, #9 and double marked at #12, this is where the octave change is at.
Learn the first scale top to bottom using all of your fingers, that will make you hands stretch and playing chords will be easier. Learn it top to bottom and bottom to top. Once you have it memorized, try the next one and so on.
