First image: Chord tone of this diatonic 7th chord in blue (light blue for chord root). Second image: Identify the tones of the tonic triad (1, 3, 5) included in this chord in red to indicate strong resolutions. Third image: Add any tonic triad tones not included in this chord in red outline to indicate additional resolutions. Fourth image: Add the leading tone of they key in green (outline only if not in this 7th chord). Fifth image: Add any remaing extensions in black outline and complete the 3NPS scale with false fingering on the g-string. Numbers represent chord tones of the root chord of the key, not the named chord.
